Sunday Saunter
It is hard to find time to disconnect and allow space for self care.
You are constantly consuming things from your environment that are causing stress.
Spending time outside seems almost foreign to you at times.
We all need a little reset before we head back into our week. Sunday Saunters will allow you the opportunity to disconnect from the things that are consuming you and allow time for you to nourish your mind and body. I will provide invitations that give you the opportunity to develop a deeper connection with the natural world through your senses. You have the choice to adapt and change any invitation given for exploration. I am only the guide in this experience the forest is the real therapist.
The research on Nature & Forest Therapy shows various benefits that include but are not limited to the following: boosts to the immune system, lower blood pressure, decreased cortisol levels, lower heart rate, activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, connection with creativity, mental clarity, and shifts in overall mood.
There is more information on Nature & Forest Therapy on my website www.smallthingsoften.com. If you need more information about how spending time in nature may benefit you. Please reach out to me with any questions. I hope to see you on my next saunter!
